Vente-privee.com now holds a majority stake in its Belgian competitor Vente-exclusive.com. The Belgian shareholders retain the remaining 49.9%. They will lead the succession and further development of the website. Every day, the site offers discounts of 30%–70% on the retail price.

In the official press release, Vente-exclusive.com states that this is a strategic partnership. But the fact is that Vente-privee.com now holds the majority of shares. As a result of the acquisition, Vente-exclusive can now offer its members even more different brands and top deals. What's more, this also supports the international growth of the Belgian website.

Expansion in Northern Europe

Stefan Tournoy and Léon Seynave, the founders of Vente-exlusive.com, had this to say: "It is an honor and a unique experience to work with the pioneer in our field. A partnership with the European market leader is quite something. And it allows us to grow faster because we can add new product categories to our shop."

Jacques-Antoin Granjon, CEO and founder of Vente-privee.com, says that the acquisition fits perfectly with his company's long-term vision. "We want to further expand our operations in Northern Europe, both organically and through external growth." Vente-exclusive.com will continue to operate independently.
