Every year we take a brief look back at the previous with a look ahead to the next. As is our custom, we can talk about the expansion of our e-fulfilment services, the growth of our business or the many fine customers who have placed their trust in us. But for once, we're not going to do that. For us, 2018 was the year of awards. The recognition as entrepreneurs, as a company, but above all the recognition for our people!
Focus on our people
For example, we won a nomination by Transport Media for our innovative personnel policy. A nomination that highlights the sincerity with which we give the best of ourselves every day. Carglass was just ahead of us, but the nomination gave us a boost. In 2019, we therefore commit ourselves to developing this policy further.
Continuing to inspire young people
Then we won the award for Best Internship Company of the Year, presented by Voka Limburg. Working together with schools to make an internship exciting and varied is crucial in the development of students. The fact that two schools (Katholiek onderwijs Hasselt and Regina Mundi Genk) nominated us for this at the same time gave us enormous pleasure! So with a smile we continue to pick up on this commitment as well!
Attention to the future
Finally, in November came the nomination for Start-up of the Year, awarded by PICS Belgium and VIB. This award gives attention to start-ups that offer innovative solutions in the logistics sector. A confirmation that our logistics services really do offer added value and, above all, provide an answer to future needs. It is therefore no secret that this nomination was an early end-of-year gift. In 2019, we will continue to expand our services to the needs of our customers and this with a view to the future!
So for once, no review of our operation or numbers, but mostly a heartfelt thank you for all the nominations and for all the people who support us!
