Once the app was developed, the issue naturally arose of making this story conclusive from a logistical point of view as well. Specifically, this meant finding an answer to the following challenges:
- How do we link a particular first aid box to a specific customer so that this box is also clearly assigned in the app?
- How do we monitor expiration dates and batch numbers of a first aid kit with certainty?
QR code to the rescue!
The answer to both questions is: with a QR code! When an order is generated, we link a unique QR code to it and thus to the first-aid box. We then scan all the specific parts of the order and fill the box. Because we know the expiration date and lot number of each product, we can link this data to the order. All this data is uploaded into the online application. As a result, each customer receives his unique first aid box and Modulaid can perfectly monitor the contents of each first aid box.
