Last month, the city of Antwerp, together with RetailDetail, organized a networking evening for entrepreneurs to guide them through new, technological opportunities for growing their businesses.
The central question there that evening was, "Is your business sufficiently in the e-talage?" Mainly entrepreneurs and professionals from the retail and hospitality industries came to take a look.
In his presentation, Dirk Draulans, the well-known sociobiologist, cast an enlightening light on today's digital age and how it could ever have come this far. Then there were speed dates with about twenty providers in the field of e-commerce, e-fulfilment, omnichannel and digitalization. BME was also there. And during the networking, new interesting contacts were made while enjoying a snack and a drink.
Of course, we always like initiatives like this. And so we hope we've been able to get a number of business owners thinking about moving into e-commerce - or optimizing their current logistics operations.
