BME further invests in own services

As in other years, we have not been idle this first six months by constantly questioning ourselves and our services. Together with our partners, we are looking for ways to improve their services and increase their added value for their customers. Over the past six months, we have continued to build our services. Here is a small sample of our new offerings:

1. Further commit to our DNA in a thorough way.

As you already know, we value our people oprECHTly. In 2017, we made some conscious choices to take a qualitative and sustainable approach to our employment. By doing so, we are building a nice workplace, but also a stable environment in which your orders are processed.

In 2018, after winning the HR award, we determined that we want to continue down this path with our people. This is not a development that stops, but to which we want to attach certain objectives. Hence, we are making it an absolute main point to have a strong working HR policy in place by the end of 2019. In doing so, we are structuring our way of working so that it too can withstand growth!

2. Develop a BI dashboard.

Transparency should not be an empty concept. Hence, we have developed our own BI dashboard. This is how we give our customers insight into internal and external operations. Customers using these dashboards get a very good picture of our services, our/their areas of improvement as well as our/their operational activities.

In other words, this is the perfect tool to search together for efficiency and areas for improvement. After all, a partnership is never static, but must always evolve along with our customer and its market. This is why we even offer the possibility to build a personalized dashboard tailored to our partners' operations!

3. Flexible use of expiration dates

More and more we work with partners who combine different countries as well as use BtoB and BtoC interchangeably from one logistics flow. So it makes sense to want to build in different principles in using due dates for certain countries or customer segments! With us, customers have the opportunity to approach the different customer segments differently and be flexible with FIFO and LIFO. Thanks to a digital integration of these segments, the end customer always receives products in accordance with the agreed due dates with certainty.

In short, we have certainly not been idle in recent months, listening carefully to the wishes of our partners. Our sincere ambition is for our partners to satisfy their customers!
